The Integrated Cardiovascular Clinical Network South Australia (iCCnet SA) provides a state-wide clinical network to
help support the management of cardiovascular disease. Syslinx have worked in partnership with iCCnet to develop a
pilot electronic medical record (EMR) for cardiac patients at SA country hospitals.
The EMR provides a clinic pathway for chest pain patients, and facilitates transferral of this information should
the individual patients be transferred to one of the Adelaide hospitals. Interfaces to a number of point of care testing
devices minimises the amount of time nurses spend entering data into the system.
Syslinx have provided a number of other systems to support iCCnet's services:
-
An ECG Distribution system which enables cardiac specialists to immediately view ECG results that have been
performed in any public hospital in South Australia via a web browser, or on their iPhone or iPad.
-
A Glucose Database, which publishes and charts the results of all Glucose tests performed on point of care test devices through-out
the SA public hospital system.
-
A Tenecteplase (Metalyse/TNK) drug ordering and monitoring system, which optimises the shelf-life of this critical drug,
resulting in substantial costs savings to the SA Government.
